SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BOARD

On December 17, 2021, the Surface Transportation Board’s Office of Environmental Analysis (OEA) issued a Notice extending the deadline for public comments on the scope of the Environmental Impact Statement in Docket No. FD 36500 for the proposed acquisition of Kansas City Southern by Canadian Pacific.

In response to requests for additional time to provide scoping comments, OEA has extended the public comment period to January 3, 2022.  Public scoping comments were originally due on December 17, 2021.
