Surface Transportation Board Determines Proposed Voting Trust For Use in Merger Between CP and KCS is Acceptable, With Certain Modifications

The Surface Transportation Board today announced a decision finding that formal Board review of the voting trust agreement for use in connection with the proposed transaction between Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) and Kansas City Southern Railway (KCS) is warranted.  In the decision, the Board determined that the proposed arrangement is acceptable with certain modifications.
