STB Issues Decision Directing Parties to Address Certain Information at Hearing for Amtrak Operations in Gulf Coast

The Surface Transportation Board today issued a decision in preparation for the evidentiary hearing beginning on April 4, 2022, regarding the National Railroad Passenger Corporation’s (Amtrak) application to operate Gulf Coast service. The Board directs the parties to be prepared to address several issues and a pending renewed request by Amtrak for access to certain lines of Norfolk Southern Railway Company.
