The Surface Transportation Board has been named one of the top-five best places to work for small federal government agencies, according to the latest rankings issued by the Partnership for Public Service. The STB placed fifth overall among small agencies.
“I take great pride in STB’s designation as one of the best places to work in government, especially considering the challenges that we and every agency faced navigating return to the office,” said Chairman Martin J. Oberman. “Our employees work tirelessly to provide the best possible service for the public and our stakeholders, all while dealing with an ever-changing work environment. Our employees are our greatest asset, and this award is clearly representative of the satisfaction they receive in a job well done.”
The Partnership’s annual rankings provide insights into federal employees’ satisfaction with their jobs and offices. The 2021 ratings reflect survey results from civil servants across the federal government.
